Hi, I’m Janel!  I grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a teaching degree.  As you can see, teaching was not my calling.  I met my husband 22 years ago and moved to Kansas to be closer to family.  I found out about The Meier Agency shortly after the move and fell in love with everything this company stands for.  The product seemed like a no-brainer after seeing my 4 year old cousin go through brain cancer.  Long story short…I’m still here after 20 years!!!  

     We have 2 beautiful teenage daughters and a crazy puppy named Lucy.  This career has allowed us to live the life we never dreamed of.  We have traveled the world together and met so many amazing people along the way just because we go to work!  My biggest accomplishment here at The Meier Agency has been learning the process and grinding through the good, bad and the ugly.  It’s the toughest thing I’ve ever done and ever will do (I’m a lifetimer!) but at the same time, it’s the most rewarding.  It’s the most amazing feeling to help families in their time of need and then get to protect those that they love and care about most.  When I’m not working, I will be at the lake or on the field/court watching my girls play their sports.
